PASSIONATE TRAINERS, DEDICATED TO HELPING YOU REACH YOUR GOALS
My name is Sam Juzbasich co-owner, of Rock Fitness and Performance and founder of Fitness Fights Cancer. My studies have helped me and the hundreds of people I’ve worked with understand how the body and mind work together. In today’s environment, I can empathize with the difficulty for both teachers and students to stay focused and to concentrate on learning. With that in mind, I’ve created a program to help you and your students adapt to the current environment and get the most out of your day.
Just to give you a brief background on me; I grew up in Loudoun County and went to Loudoun Valley High School. I have a passion for sports and have played football, wrestled, did track and more which led me on the path of going to Slippery Rock University to study Exercise and Rehabilitative Sciences and play football at the collegiate level. Since then I worked in different facilities and was fortunate enough to start my own training facility and nutrition center where I have been for the last 4 years. During this time I was faced with many obstacles including cancer, which my knowledge in health and nutrition helped me out tremendously. I started my organization Fitness Fights Cancer to help others going through cancer as well as after to take back control of their life and keep their body healthy.
My passion is to teach and guide people on their path towards health and wellness. My goal for you is to bring an awareness to what health really is, and give you the practical tools and resources to help guide you on whatever your personal goals and needs are.
Amy began her journey towards better health and fitness in 2013. After losing her mother to poor health 10 years earlier and gaining about 60lbs, her own doctors became concerned that she was going to go down the same path. It was then that she decided enough was enough and she was ready for a permanent change. Amy began to turn around the quality of her health through her discoveries in cutting edge nutritional science.
After losing the majority of the weight she had gained, Amy decided to challenge herself one step further and compete in an amateur bodybuilding show. In 2017 Amy prepped for and competed in her first bodybuilding show. With minimal experience, she planned and prepared for the majority of this show almost completely on her own. With some foundational guidance from experienced trainers and a professional bodybuilding competitor, Amy took home two first place and two third place finishes. She didn’t stop there.
The following year, she continued to compete and under the guidance and tutelage of Sam Juzbasich at Rock Fitness and Performance, she became a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In October of 2018, Amy began training clients one on one and in small group settings, and she continues to pour her energy into helping her clients achieve not just their fitness and health goals but, also to be the best versions of themselves mentally and emotionally. Amy believes strong minds lead to stronger bodies and is dedicated to being a constant student of the craft of bodybuilding and fitness.
